Hello! Welcome to Dear Veronica! I started this blog as a space to document bits and pieces of my life with my little girl Veronica and my husband Jimi, but I also hope to use this blog as a space to share and learn with all of you!
Aside from what I've written above, I always think writing about yourself is somewhat difficult and so I thought why not just make a list of 20 random facts about me? Hopefully it will help you get to know me better!
20 random facts about me:
1. I have a bachelors degree in Spanish and French.
2. I live in Minnesota with my husband Jimi and 2 year old daughter, Veronica.
3. I have a huge sweet tooth.
4. I've been with my husband for almost 16 years, we've been married for 5 of those years.
5. My mom and my sister are my best friends.
6. One of my favorite things to do when I have a bit of free time is watch Make-up and Beauty videos on YouTube).
7. I love watching old cowboy movies. (The Searchers with John Wayne is one of my favorites!)
8. I'm not a fan of ketchup or red sauce. (I know...I'm weird.)
9. I swam competitively all throughout junior high and high-school and into my college years.
10. I love cooking and baking.
11. Christmas is my all time favorite holiday.
12. I secretly really like typical "mid-western" food...(think hotdishes ;)
13. I am a huge procrastinator and always have been.
14. I am a home-body. (There is nothing better than a movie and popcorn at home on a Saturday night with my husband and daughter.)
15. I love to read but don't do it nearly enough.
16. Fall is my favorite season.
17. I love to make lists but am far from a type A personality.
18. I love the smell of freshly cut grass.
19. I am the least artistic person I know...literally.
20. My daughter Veronica is my greatest joy in life. I love her to pieces. xoxo
